China Ukkaa in the Chinen district. China Ukkaa, to the west of the China settlement, is said to be as old as Teda Ukkaa. Even today it is treasured as a place of worship for the local people. It sees many visitors as it is one of the places of worship in the Agari Umai pilgrimage. In 1996, China Ukkaa was designated as an historical site by Chinen village (modern Nanjo city).
