"Sashiki Youdore" is located in the Sashiki district. "Youdore" means "evening calm" or "a quiet place". Shou Hashi formed the Ryukyu Kingdom.His father, Shou Shishou, was enshrined along with hiswife and family members, but in 1959 Samegawa Ufunushi was also enshrined with them. "Sashiki Youdore" was designated as a prefectural historical site in 1958.
