The Plant Community of Kaberu is on the northeastern edge of Kudaka Island. It stretches around 50 meters from the coast to an elevation of eight to ten meters. Thickets of Screw pins, Yedda hawthorn and other plant communities are carefully preserved in their natural state. In 1995, the Plant Community of Kaberu in Kudaka Island was designated as a natural treasure by Okinawa Prefecture.
